말없이 마음이 통하고, 
그래서 말없이 서로의 
일을 챙겨서 도와주고, 
그래서 늘 서로 고맙게 생각하고 
그런 사이였으면 좋겠습니다. 

방풍림처럼 바람을 막아주지만 
바람을 막아주고는 그 자리에 늘 
그대로 서 있는 나무처럼 
그대와 나도 그렇게 있으면 좋겠습니다. 

물이 맑아서 산 그림자를 깊게 안고 있고 
산이 높아서 물을 
늘 깊고 푸르게 만들어주듯이 
그렇게 함께 있으면 좋겠습니다. 

산과 물이 억지로 섞여 있으려 하지 않고 
산은 산대로 있고 
물은 물대로 거기 있지만 
그래서 서로 아름다운 풍경이 되듯 
그렇게 있을 수 있다면 좋겠습니다.
